This is the eConestoga Homepage Standardization project I got to work on for the UI design. This project involved a lot in addressing the needs of the students and faculty members. I designed a user interface for both students and faculty members. Each interface displays different information for the two audiences in slightly different colour themes to differentiate. Even though faculty members can access both homepage versions, students only see the design targeted for them. There was a lot learned throughout this project and practicing user experience methods as well as building up on my user interface knowledge.
I’ve worked on countless, individually different online course designs. I’ve had the opportunity to get creative with each design. I worked with an illustrator for some, and for some, I created visually appealing graphics to accompany the themes. Overall, I had a lot of practice and gained new knowledge when i was designing online courses. This also helped me build on my AODA knowledge and see how students would interact with the courses.
Besides creating an overall theme for the courses I worked on, I supplied and expanded the user interface elements that get handed off to the development team over time.
Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) is one of the projects I experienced making wireframes, design concepts and mobile concept for. For wireframes, the client wanted to see how the homepage would function with the pop up menu on the bottom half of the page. I then moved on to making design concepts for the homepage and making a responsive design that work well with mobile and other platforms.
Waterloo EDC was one of the corporate design projects I had the chance to work with. This client was very particular in what they wanted for the brand and the colours. Once the logo was complete with team effort, I completed the brand with stationery pieces and a tradeshow banner. A diamond pattern that plays off of the "W" in Waterloo EDC was created to connect the brand with the stationery pieces and the tradeshow banner.
The project goal is to empower all road users to play their part in making our roads safer. This educational campaign uses print and digital design to diversify placement and audience exposure. Check out the campaign website at SafeRoadsWR.com.

This website design was for the County of Frontenac and focused on places you can explore. This client was looking for something that would complement the county's main website but use big imagery instead. The layouts and big, bold imagery provided lots of opportunities to display the events happening around Frontenac.
KW Hydro’s Annual Report project was a great experience learning typography, layout and infographics integrated into the content. While a lot of content is packed into the annual report, the imagery, call-out boxes, and infographics helped with the whole flow. Another version of this annual report was also prepared to be AODA-compliant and screen reader-friendly.
South Glengarry website was one of the first websites I worked on. This project helped me understand the structure of websites, the types of content in this particular case and best web practices for layouts, interactive elements and imagery.
This Police Services booklet was designed for marketing purposes. The idea behind was to create an informational piece that engages the consumer not just with content, but the design. The booklet is designed to keep the reader interested with different layouts and imagery that also work with heavy content.

This project is about a design system for a potential film festival for the film director, Errol Morris. The thing that is fascinating about Errol Morris, is the way he uses his own invention of recording interviews called interretron. To reflect the way he produces his documentaries, I've introduced it within the identity by using two faces facing eachother.
Monopoly is a classic board game known worldwide so, I decided to redesign in in a 1960's style that appeals to a nostalgia of that generation. This board game generally comes in many different themes; with my 1960's theme, I decided to focus more on illustration and the colour scheme to bring out the most of the 1960's.
This is a great project to work with an existing brand and practice typesetting in french and english. This annual report still follows the guidelines for Telus's company colour theme, and the way they do their visuals by using animals.
The goal for this project was to freshen up Garden Fresh Gourmet's identity and re-design their current packaging to better reflect the quality of the product. The new re-designed package reflects their all natural salsa with an organic look.
